About Me
🌌 🧘 🎞️ 📸 ️🧳 🌄 🎵 🖼️ ⛩️
I’ve spent the last decade designing complex, systems-driven products that turn technology into experiences people can understand, trust, and use. My work has spanned electric vehicles at Lucid, hand-tracking at uSens, and immersive VR at Oculus, all within systems where digital experiences are deeply connected to the physical world.
Born in China and now based in California, I’ve spent much of my life moving between cultures, disciplines, and ways of seeing. That has shaped how I design: with sensitivity to context, nuance, and how people orient themselves within complex systems.
I’m drawn to ambiguous problems where the path is not yet obvious, from 0→1 product direction to evolving systems over time. Across my work, I’ve learned that meaningful design is not just about simplifying complexity. It is about helping people find clarity inside it.
As a leader, I mentor designers, advocate for their growth, and care about how teams work together, not just what they produce. Meditation and mindfulness are part of my daily life, and they shape both how I lead and how I design.
Right now, I’m building Unfolding, a contemplation app for intentional living, as a one-person team. I’m designing and developing the product end-to-end with AI as a core development tool, exploring how AI can make new kinds of experiences possible while helping people live with more clarity and intention.
Outside of design, I find inspiration in podcasts, film photography, movies, art, and travel, with a special love for Japan.
