Energy and charging are central to Lucid - shaping how drivers plan trips and feel confident every day. Charging isn’t just plugging in, it’s about confidence, convenience, and control.

As design lead, I worked across the full ecosystem—from home and public charging to V2X and energy services—focusing on strategy, user experience, and execution. The goal is to simplify complexity, build trust, and make charging a signature part of the Lucid experience.

Charging status is placed near the entrance for quick, glanceable access, eliminating the need to pull out the phone or open the door. A fullscreen animation synced with ambient lighting transforms this functional moment into an emotionally engaging experience.

RangeXchange lets you use your extra range to give an EV in need an extra boost—to help them get where they need to go. You'll be able to recharge another EV at a rate of up to 9.6kW – adding between 24 and 40 miles of range per hour. And this is just the beginning.
